Who’s the VEEP?
Have you stopped by Cappers Picks today looking for Joe Biden’s 2020 US Presidential Election VP Betting Odds and a free 2020 election free pick & preview? We’ve got your back! It is — and has been — known that Joe Biden will select a female running mate to round out his ticket for the 2020 United States Presidential Election. Exactly who that will be, however, remains a mystery and sportsbooks are taking advantage of the speculation by providing a comprehensive list of female candidates to bet on.
2020 US Presidential Election VP Betting Odds – Sen. Kamala Harris
Kamala Harris is the listed favorite of +145 at MyBookie. She fits the bill as a moderate, well-established choice for Biden, satisfying the corporate finance world that has balked at some of the names a little further down the list.
Harris adds West Coast appeal to Biden’s East Coast roots and, perhaps more importantly, offers a generational gap, both for younger voters and those concerned with Biden’s age (had the run in 2016, he would have been the oldest US President on Inauguration Day.
He will turn 80 midway through his first term, if he is elected later this year).
2020 US Presidential Election VP Betting Odds – Sen. Amy Klobuchar
Amy Klobuchar is hanging on as the second name in the list of favorites at +350. She offers a lot of the benefits Harris does and has strong midwestern roots that will attract votes in a few key swing states.
She does seem to be losing ground to the next name mentioned, however. The Minnesota Senator is currently undergoing the vetting process to be Biden’s VP.
2020 US Presidential Election VP Betting Odds – Sen. Elizabeth Warren
Elizabeth Warren has been the hot name lately. The Massachusetts Senator offers a +600 payday and would help Biden secure the far left that may look at him as too moderate.
Warren and Biden talk often and were, reportedly, prepared to run on the same ticket in 2016 before Biden decided against running.
But he and Warren do clash on some issues, most notably universal healthcare and bankruptcy law. She is also in her 70s and does not offer the generational gap some of her younger contemporaries do.
Strengths & Weaknesses
That said, Biden has come out and said he is looking for a candidate who offers strengths different from his own. Warren’s technical prowess and economic background makes his a strong candidate.
It may not favor Democrats, however. If she is selected, Massachusetts’ Republican governor would, by law, select her replacement in the Senate and presumably strengthen his own party.
2020 US Presidential Election VP Betting Odds – Stacy Abrams
Stacy Abrams is the last name worth mentioning here. She offers a +800 payout, which may not be quite big enough, considering she is still something of a dark horse.
Abrams lost a highly controversial election for Georgia’s governor in 2018 and has used the controversy to establish a more national platform.
She will attract young and black voters, two demographics crucial to Mr. Biden’s election success.
But compared to the names listed above her’s in the list of favorites, she does not command the sort of respect among the general public looking for a replacement president, which may be just enough reason for Mr. Biden to look elsewhere for his 2020 running mate.

2020 US Presidential Election Gambling Odds – Free Pick: Warren +750
Pick: Abrams would have been a nice long-shot play a month or two ago but at +800, the payout just isn’t that attractive to go with an unconventional name here. Warren, meanwhile, still offers a strong payout and should be considered as much a favorite as Harris and Klobuchar, who are almost stealing momentum away from each other.
Biden’s familiarity with Warren and their contrasting styles will make her the pick. Take Warren now as Biden’s impending announcement remains on the horizon.
