Sam Houston State flipped the script in 2024, going from 3-9 in 2023 to 10-3, but a lot of that may have been luck – lucky in turnovers and injuries, and 6-0 in one-score games. Perhaps there’s some negative regression coming for them in those areas, or maybe they’re ready to be perennial contenders.
