2018 PGA The Valero Texas Open Preview and Picks
Ready to bet on this week’s 2018 The Valero Texas Open betting odds? The PGA Tour will make a stop in San Antonio, Texas where six of the top 36 players in the world competing. Although there isn’t a ton of big name guys playing, there are still a lot of places for value.

2019 The Valero Texas Open Favorites:
Rickie Fowler +1000
Rickie Fowler is the favorite this week and it’s really not a surprise because he is the best golfer in the field this week.

Fowler’s last start was at the Players Championship and a terrible Sunday did him in. He finished +4 on Sunday and he needs to get that bad taste out of his mouth early.
It’s going to be key that he has a huge Thursday.
Jordan Spieth +2000
Jordan Spieth is in his home state and although he has had his fair share of struggles, I think this is a place where he can turn it around.
His putting looked better last weekend and it’s something that has let him down this season. If the putting is good things are looking up.
2019 The Valero Texas Open Contenders:
Matt Kuchar +1600
There has been a ton of Kucccchhhhh chants around the golf course the last few times he has played because of how well he has played and he has a ton of confidence.
Kuchar lost to Kevin Kisner in the match play final last week but the confidence is still there. It’s going to be a good week.
Andrew Landry +10000
This might not be a contender and is actually more of a sleeper but this is another guy that you need to have on the betting slip

This is the same guy who won the Texas Open last year and now he is sitting at +10,000 odds. This is worth at least a couple of bucks with a huge payout.
2019 The Valero Texas Open Sleeper (+5000 or higher):
JB Holmes +5400
Another guy that it’s all going to come down to his putter is JB Holmes. He is a really good ball striker but the putter has let him down this year
He has missed a few cuts but this is a course that really rewards guys who can hit it far off the tee. JB Holmes needs to be on your bet sheet this week.
