With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an extra eye on this week? Let’s break it down.
2019 Tour Championship Favorites:
Justin Thomas 9/4
It’s really not shocking to see Justin Thomas the favorite considering he has a two-shot lead with the new format. He also comes into this one of a huge win in last week’s event.
The final score looked impressive, but that was because he shot a 61 on Saturday that really put the tournament in the bag.
There are also questions about how he will react to being -10 to start the tournament. Can he win? Sure, but we are looking for value and there is zero value here.
Brooks Koepka 9/2
If you are looking for someone near the top of the odds, this is as good of guy as anyone to get the job done for you and make some cash.
I know this isn’t a major, but there is no doubt he practiced for this one with the big payday that is on the line for the winner.
He has two finishes outside the top 20, but this is the type of event he gets up for.
2019 Tour Championship Contenders:
Rory McIlroy 8/1
Rory McIlroy starts the tournament -5 under and five shots behind the leader but he has won here before and the pressure has never gotten to him.
He has had some impressive come from behind winners in his career and there is no reason he can’t do it again?
Jon Rahm 16/1
Jon Rahm starts at -4 along with a big back of other players. I really don’t think someone from that range will win, but if someone from the -4 pack wins it will be Rahm.

He has looked really good the last few starts and just missed a win a couple of weeks ago. 16-1 is a really nice payout too.
2019 Tour Championship Sleeper (75/1 or higher):
STAY AWAY
I don’t see anyone coming from way off the pace to win it, so I would not even waste your money putting a bet on this one.
2019 Tour Championship Picks:
The guy I do really like is – Rory McIlroy at 8/1 to have a nice tournament and end up on top on Sunday Afternoon.
He likes playing at this course and has had success and I think that will be the case again in this one. I think he will have a convincing Sunday and that will lead to a victory.
