2019 PGA The Honda Classic Preview and Picks
Ready to bet on this week’s 2018 The Honda Classic betting odds? The PGA Tour continues it’s tour and makes a stop at the PGA National Golf Course in Palm Beach Garden Florida. This is one of the most loaded fields of this young season and should make for some very competitive golf this weekend.

With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an extra eye on this week? Let’s break it down.
2019 The Honda Classic Favorites:
Justin Thomas +500
It’s really no surprise to see Justin Thomas that is the favorite for a couple of reasons. He won this tournament last year, and he is one of the best golfers in the world.
[dfads params=’groups=248&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
The big question this weekend is how will Thomas put? When Thomas struggles it’s because of his play on the green and if he wants to win he needs to limit his puts.
Rickie Fowler +1000
Rickie Fowler has been talking about the new rule that cost him one shot for an illegal drop and that will be the talking about but I think he is a good play this weekend.
Rickie Fowler struggled in Mexico after getting out to a slow start, but he won the Phoenix Open and he has been playing really well so far this season.
2018 The Honda Classic Contenders:
Adam Scott +1400
This is a course that you need to make the greens in regulation, and that is a place that Adam Scott has struggled this year.
He is ranked 141st in the PGA Tour in greens in regulation and I think this is someone who actually misses the cut this tournament.
Billy Horschel +3300
This is a tournament that Billy Horschel really enjoys playing in and I think that will show with his results this weekend.

In two of the last three starts at the Honda Classic, he has finished in top ten and I think this is a place he will finish strong.
2019 The Honda Classic Sleeper (+5000 or higher):
Zach Johnson +6600
To be honest there really isn’t a ton of great sleepers this week, but I think that Zach Johnson has a shot to have success in this one.
2019 The Honda Classic Picks:
The guy I do really like is – Rickie Fowler to have a nice tournament and end up on top on Sunday Afternoon.
He comes into this tournament hot and with a lot of confidence, and I would expect to see him leave the tournament with a little more cash in his pocket.
Golf handicapper Shane M weighs in each week with his top selections. Including top picks and sleepers!
