With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an extra eye on this week? Let’s break it down.
2018 The Bridgestone Invitational Favorites:
Dustin Johnson +700
Dustin Johnson is the favorite to win it all this year which isn’t surprising because he has had himself a nice little season this year.
He has three wins this year, and he really should have had four in the US Open if it wasn’t for a really bad third round.
It’s very odd that a favorite wins this tournament, but even at this price Johnson is very hard to ignore this year.

He is playing at a different level right now.
Tiger Woods +1200
Tiger Woods play at the British Open is making him a popular bet this weekend and although I think he will golf well, I still don’t like him this weekend.
This field is so loaded and it’s not a links course. This is a course he has played well at over his career, but I think he will fall off on Sunday and it will cost him another win.
2018 The Bridgestone Invitational Contenders:
Francesco Molinari +2500
Francesco Molinari is turning into a star on the PGA Tour and is currently the hottest golfer on it. In his last six starts, he has three wins and tied for second twice.
At +2500 he is hard to ignore and don’t be surprised if he pulls off a win in this one.
Hideki Matsuyama +4000
Hideki Matsuyama won this event last year and he dominated the field on Sunday leading to an easy win. He hasn’t been golfing great this year and I don’t think he will have much success this.
I don’t even think he will be contention on Sunday and i think he will be one of the first guys to tee off for the final round.

2018 The Bridgestone Invitational Sleeper (+4000 or higher):
Phil Mickelson +7500
Phil Mickelson loves playing at this course even though he doesn’t have a win here. Although he hasn’t been golfing great as of late, I think he will be able to turn it around in this one.
As a longshot I like his value.
2018 The Bridgestone Invitational Picks:
The guy I do really like is – Francesco Molinari to have a nice tournament and end up on top on Sunday Afternoon.
He will outduel the loaded field to come away with a win.
