2018 PGA The Houston Open Preview and Picks
Ready to bet on this week’s 2018 The Houston Open betting odds? The PGA Tour makes another stop in Texas this week before the Masters next weekend. Fans hoping to see Tiger Woods this weekend will have to wait until next weekend though, as he is taking the week off.

With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an extra eye on this week? Let’s break it down.
2018 The Houston Open Favorites:
Justin Rose +1000
Justin Rose comes into this tournament as the odds-on favorite to win the Houston Open. He took off last weekend but the previous weekend he finished tied for 3rd at Arnold Palmer Invitational.

He is really starting to hit a stride, especially with the putting. Although his payout isn’t great he is probably going to have a great weekend.
Rickie Fowler +1000
Rickie Fowler comes into this tournament with the second best odds to win but I can’t quite figure out why. Since winning at the Hero World Championship in December he has struggled.
He usually has two or three good rounds but then one round seems to do him in. I think that he will have another bad round this weekend and I would stay far far away from Fowler.
2018 The Houston Open Contenders:
Phil Mickelson +1400
Phil Mickelson struggled in the match play last weekend, but that has never really been his strong suit. Before that he had four straight top six finishes and I would expect to see him back to that type of play this weekend.
He has his confidence back and is flying high heading into the Masters.
Matt Kuchar +3300
Matt Kuchar has had his share of struggles so far this year, but he comes into this tournament playing some better golf.
Kuchar was really dialed in during last weekends match play and has a really good chance to have success at Houston, a place he has played well.

If he can start off the week strong, the end of the weekend could see him raising the trophy.
2018 The Houston Open Sleeper (+5000 or higher):
Brandt Snedeker +6600
Brandt Snedeker was having a nice Valspar tournament before being paired with Tiger Woods and he couldn’t take the pressure.
If he can forget about that terrible final round though, he is a great chance to come out ahead with the title.
2018 Arnold Palmer Invitational Picks:
The guy I do really like is – Matt Kuchar +3300 to have a nice tournament and end up on top on Sunday Afternoon.
He comes into this tournament hot and with a lot of confidence, and I would expect to see him leave the tournament with a little more cash in his pocket.
