TPC Boston is known for it’s tree, and this course is known for many of them. There is many holes on this course where players will have to decide if they want to take some risks on the course, or just play them safe.
The 18th hole is one of the most exciting finishing holes in all the tour, and if it is close going down the stretch, the 18th hole could provide some fireworks.

With all of that in mind who should we be keeping an extra eye on this week? Let’s break it down.
2017 Deutsche Bank Championship Favorites:
Dustin Johnson +700
After an epic showdown last Sunday with Jordan Spieth it’s not surprise to see Dustin Johnson as the favorite to win this tournament, and take a firm grip on the FedEx Championship.
He has got it all going right now. He is driving the ball ridiculously well and his putting has been good. Even his recovery game which has struggled at times is what helped him pull out the win last week.
If he can keep staying away from the really bad holes, this tournament could also be his.
Jordan Spieth +800
If Jordan Spieth would have won last weeks playoff he would probably be the favorite, but he didn’t so he comes into this tournament with the second best odds.
The one thing with Spieth is he really needs to pick and choose when to be aggressive this weekend. There are many holes when that decision will have to be made this weekend and he needs to pick wisely.
The one thing that has always hurt him is it seems he has one hole that can blow up and he will shot a seven or eight on it.
2017 Dell Technologies Contenders:
Rory McIlroy +1600
The defending champion Rory Mcilroy comes into this tournament at +1600, and just by names sake he is a guy to bet on, but I personally would stay away from him at this price.
He comes into this tournament really struggling, and although he can turn it on at anytime, he probably really doesn’t have much of a shot in this one.
At the Northern Trust last weekend his ball was flying everywhere and he finished tied for 34th place at +2.
Paul Casey +2200
Paul Casey is having a really nice year so far, and has been constiatnly finishing near the top of the leader board. I think he is trending that way again in this match, as long as he golfs the whole weekend.
[dfads params=’groups=247&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
His wife is pregnant and almost due, and he could be called away from the course at anytime to go be with his wife. If you do make a bet on him this weekend just be aware of that.
Sergio Garcia +4000
Sergio Garcia finally got that monkey off his back, and won his first major championship this year. Now can he follow that up with a FedEx Cup title?
He does come into this tournament after a little layoff since missing the cut at the PGA Championship. This is his type of course though.
He is a ball striker and that type of play is perfect for his game. If he can have a good start on Friday, that should raise his confidence and he could see himself rise up the leader board.
2017 Dell Technologies Championship Sleeper (+5000 or higher):
Bubba Watson +6600
Bubba Watson had a lot of work to do just to be able to paly in this tournament and he stepped up to the table when the pressure was highest.
He finished at -4 in the Northern Trust Open which put him in tenth place and he would like to build off that in this one.
2017 Dell Technologies Championship Picks:
I picked Dustin Johnson to win it last week, and he won but I am going to go in a different direction this week. I really like – Sergio Garcia at +4000 to have a nice tournament and end up on top on Monday afternoon.
My Sleeper is a sleeper in terms of their odds, but they are well known throughout the whole sport.
Bubba Watson +6600 will have a strong week and build off the success from last week. I think he has a chance for another top 10 finish this week, and maybe even that title.
