The Tennessee Titans will head to Chicago this week to take on the Bears in an AFC vs. NFC inter-conference matchup. These teams are having very different seasons so far, but both are coming off of losses last week.
The Bears lost their second in a row at New York against the Giants 22-16 last week. They are in last place in the NFC North.
The Titans have hovered right around .500 all year, which is good enough to continue to compete for the AFC South. They lost at divisional rival Indianapolis last week 24-17.
However, they have taken big strides forward this year and are in 3rd place in the division.
The Titans have developed an identity this year based around running the ball down the throats of opposition and playing efficiently on both sides of the ball.
Tennessee is 3rd in the NFL in rushing with 140.8 yards per game on the ground.
They are led by the efficient passing of Marcus Mariota and the powerful running of DeMarco Murray. Mariota has passed for 2,772 yards and 23 touchdowns; Murray has run for 1,000 yards and eight scores.
They are also 8th in scoring offense with 25.5 points per game. On the other side, they rank 20th in total defense and 7th in run D.
The Bears have been struggling all year, and things don’t look to be improving over the last few weeks.
Their offense has been anemic, but the defense has managed to at least keep them in most of their games.
The main question offensively for Atlanta will be at the RB position.
Chicago ranks 17th in the league in total offense with 344.1 yards per game, but they have been unable to convert yards into points.
They are 31st in scoring defense, putting up only 15.7 points per game. Jay Cutler has missed much of the season with injury, and Brian Hoyer actually leads the team in passing.
However, Cutler is now back and performed relatively well last week against the Giants.
The defense has been good, ranking 10th in total defense (340.0 yards allowed per game) and 19th in scoring D (23.7 points allowed per game).
NFL Betting Trends:

- Bears are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games
- Bears are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Titans -5
Tennessee has been up and down this season, and they continue to rebound after losses.
The offense has improved and become more balanced over the last few weeks and could have some success against the strong Chicago defense.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Tennessee 24 – Chicago 17
The Bears have been unable to points on the board all year, and they are facing a tough defense this year. Cutler’s return should help them in this regard, but we all know his tendency to turn the ball over.
he offensive line has also struggled, and the Titans are one of the best pass rushing teams in the league.
