Tom Brady brings in an 11-2 career record in NFL Opening games and will have a chance, thanks to New York Judge, to push that mark to 12-2 on Thursday night.
The NFL’s Opening night will feature 2 of the 3 winningest NFL teams over the past 10 seasons. The teams combined have won 223 games since 2005 along with 15 playoff appearances, 6 AFC Championships, and 3 Super Bowl rings.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh spent all of the 2015 preseason essentially preparing for a Tom Bradyless New England Patriots. However, due to circumstances beyond their control, they will now have to adjust their game plan as Brady will be playing come Thursday night.
Still, the Steelers are a good enough team to adjust and their 2014 resume can back that statement up.
Pittsburgh, the defending AFC North Champions, was 2nd among total yards in the NFL as they averaged 411.1 a game. Their pass offense was a giant part of that as they averaged 301.6 (2nd).

In 2014, QB Ben Roethlisberger threw for 4952 yards and 32 touchdowns. He turned the Steelers into one of the best passing offenses in the league and gave them the ability to never really be out of a game when they fell behind.
It helps that he has one of the best WR in the league out wide too. WR Antonio Brown led the NFL in receptions last year with 129 and in reception yards with 1698.
RB DeAngelo Williams will get the nod to start with Le’Veon Bell suspended.
New England Patriots
The Patriots were the center of attention the football world and not because they won the Super Bowl last season. Tom Brady was suspended by commissioner Roger Goodell for 4 games following an investigation of the deflating of footballs.
Brady felt he did no wrong in the situation and took the matter to court. A New York judge ruled in favor of Tom Brady and the suspension was uplifted.
Now the Patriots have jumped to 7 point favorites in their home opener and get a chance to defend his Super Bowl ring.

Brady led the 11th best offense in terms of total yards in 2014 with 365.5. The Patriots passed for 257.6 a game (9th) and rushed for 107.9 (18th).
Brady will have a new #1 out wide as WR Julian Edelman will be the team’s top target in terms of receiver. TE Rob Gronkowski will look to build off his 12 touchdown season last year as him and Brady have one of the best connections in the red zone throughout the entire NFL.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Under 52
It’s going to be one of those games where the public is heavy on the Over. With that, two very good offenses will be battling here, but expect some rust here in Week 1 as well as both teams trying to keep the ball out of the counterpart’s Qb’s hands.
