Ravens vs. Steelers is part of what makes the NFL great.
This season it looks like the AFC North is going to go down to the final weekend so every game is going to count.
Both teams had a bye last week, which was probably more of an advantage for the Steelers than Baltimore as they look to get healthy in many spots.
Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET with the Ravens looking to catch the Steelers at the top of the division. Cincinnati is in the mix as well.
The big story with the Steelers is the health of Big Ben.
He is out and they are hoping to ride things out with Landry Jones. They have lost their last two games and Jones is not encouraging with his play.
It is a shame really because the Steelers are have a great collection of skill talent. Antonio Brown might be the best receiver in the league and Le’Veon Bell is among the better running backs.
However, without a trigger man it all falls apart pretty quickly.
The defense has been good but this was never going to be an elite unit this season.
Key to this week is that it looks like Ryan Shazier is going to be back. He is probably the fastest guy on the defense and they need him chasing down plays from sideline to sideline.
A road win over the Ravens would really put Pittsburgh in a great position in the division.
The Ravens’ bye could not have come at a better time as they needed it to hopefully break the momentum of 4 consecutive losses. I was not a big fan of this team coming into the season and have not seen much to change my mind.
On offense they really lack skill talent. Top rusher Terrance West is nothing special and if Mike Wallace is your top receiving threat that says a lot about your depth.
Joe Flacco is a good quarterback with a very strong-arm but he is not the type to be able to win games on his own. He is just not that dynamic guy.
The Baltimore defense has been good, giving up under 20ppg.
Edge rusher Terrelle Suggs looks pretty much back with 5 sacks but his status for this weekend is up in the air with a torn biceps injury.
I didn’t think much of their defense but the numbers speak for themselves. By every measure they are among the best in the league.
Without an offense though they might just get worn down.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Baltimore -2.5
I am not a big fan of the Ravens this season and was thus not convinced when they won their first three games. Losing four in a row to follow seemed right but they can get this at home.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Baltimore 21 – Pittsburgh 17
This will definitely be a battle as a couple of lacklustre offenses are pitted against each other. I like Baltimore to win but there is not a lot of value on the spread right now.
