The Raiders and Cardinals each came into this season with new head coaches and lots of new faces around the team.
Turns out, it’s going to take some time to integrate the moving parts. The two West Coast squads have just three wins going into their Week 11 tilt.
Oakland looked miserable in Week 10 against the Chargers. The Raiders got the ball first and took the ball the length of the field in about half the quarter. It was a great start, aided by a successful fake punt but Jon Gruden decided to go for it from about a yard out on four-down.
Bad choice, the Chargers stuffed the Raiders, who didn’t get much of anything all afternoon from there. They did score first and took a 3–0 lead into the second quarter but Phillip Rivers found a groove eventually and it turned into a 20–6 LA triumph.
It would be one thing if Oakland only threw short to completely take away opponents’ pass rush but the Raiders throw these dink and dunk passes out wide and over the middle because it’s the only thing the pass rush defense can handle.
They’re road favorites on Sunday and Arizona is the only place that could be possible. This will be a matchup of two terrible teams hungry for a win, perhaps one last win before the season ends.
The Cardinals were massive road underdogs on Sunday against the Chiefs but kept it close for longer than most expected.
The defense was pretty good, sacking Patrick Mahomes five times, the highest number of times he’s been sacked in his young career. But it also gave up a few big plays to Tyreek Hill, who scored twice. Mahomes’ two TD passes gave him Kansas City’s franchise record with thirty-one TD passes in just ten games. He’s got six more to pad that record.
Speaking of record, Larry Fitzgerald caught five balls for sixty yards in the second half after a goose-egg in the first. He passed Terrell Owens to move into second-place on the all-time receiving yards list. Eight more catches will give him the record for receptions with one team.
David Johnson had his biggest game of the season against the Chiefs with ninety-eight yards on the ground and another eight-five (on seven catches) through the air. He scored both of Arizona’s touchdowns.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Arizona -3.5
This feels like a big number for a team as bad as the Raiders to cover. Josh Rosen should have more time to throw against Oakland and I think he wins it straight-up. The 3.5 is nice to have, though.
