The New York Jets make the trip to M&T Bank Stadium to take on the Baltimore Ravens. If the Ravens win out they will home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
New York Jets
The New York Jets got out to a terrible start to their season but they have taken advantage of an easy schedule and have won four of their last five games.
The one loss was a shocking one a couple games ago where the offense couldn’t get anything going against the Cincinnati Bengals where they only scored six points.
In their last game against the Miami Dolphins, it took a late field goal to come away with a victory, but they still did enough to come away with a win.
At quarterback it’s Sam Darnold and he has been up and down. Against a defense that can be frustrating, they need him to have success, but they also need to make sure he takes care of the ball.
On the defensive side they have been strong against the run ranking second in the league with yards allowed and in this game they need to keep Jackson in the pocket and slow him down.
Baltimore Ravens
On the other side of this matchup is the Baltimore Ravens who have been involved in a couple of close games the last couple of weeks but they have been able to come away with wins.

The Ravens started out the season going 2-2 but since that point they have been dominant winning nine games in a row.
For the Ravens the defense has been solid, but the offense is the key for this team to have success in this game, and also the rest of the season.
On the season the Ravens offense is averaging 33.1 points per game which is first in the NFL. They also rushed for over 200 yards per game which is 1st in the NFL.
In this game it’s going to be all about Lamar Jackson and if he can hurt the Jets with his legs. If he can run wild in this game. they should have no issue in this game.
NFL Betting Trends:

- NYJ are 7-15-1 ATS in their last 23 games overall.
- BAL are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home games.
- NYJ are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 meetings.
- Favorite is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings.
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Jets ATS
The Ravens are no question the better team, and they really should have no issue coming away with their 12th victory.
Even with the Ravens success, this number is just a little too big. The Ravens will win, but the Jets will do enough to cover the spread.

Shane ….In your Jets/Ravens analysis you say “Its going to be about whether Lamar Jackson can hurt RAVENS with his legs”….Uhhhhh – Jackson does inDeed play for Ravens – perhaps he will hurt Jets with his legs – Againe – A proofreader would suffice.
