Eli Manning, Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Football Giants will facing off against a fellow 3-3 team in Los Angeles in Week 7.
Set the timer on your coffee maker, as this Sunday morning kickoff is set for 6:30 AM PST in Los Angeles. Eli will be under center for the visiting Giants, taking on Case Keenum, who is coming off of an uncommon huge week for his standards.
New York Giants
Through the first six games this season, Eli Manning has thrown for 1788 yards (2nd in the NFL) but just eight touchdowns, which is only a 16 TD pace.

Eli is now 35 years old and entering the twilight of his career, after watching his brother, Peyton, hang up the cleats after a Superbowl victory earlier this year.
For his career, Eli has an 83.7 passer rating and 302 TDs, to go along with his three Super Bowl rings which bests his brother by one.
Odell Beckham Jr. finally broke out this season in a huge way in week-6, registering 222 receiving yards and 2 TDs against the Baltimore Ravens.
The young phenom is considered one of (if not the) best wideout in the league entering his 3rd season and proved it against the Ravens.

The Giants defense is improved is improved over a season ago, however has been ravaged by injuries in their back-field.
They have allowed an average of 21.83 points per game this season, though injuries to Cornerbacks Eli Apple and Antonio Cromartie have played a factor.
Los Angeles Rams
LA enters into the morning game with a .500 record, coming off of a tough 3-point loss in Detroit by the way of a game-winning field goal late in the 4th quarter.
Despite the loss there was a lot for LA to be happy about, namely QB Case Keenum. Keenum, essentially a backup/ journeyman, threw for 321 yards and 3 TDs while also running one in himself.
This was a career-game for Keenum, but it shouldn’t be expected that this will be repeated on a weekly basis. His career passer rating is 81.4.
The major beneficiary of Keenum’s big game was wideout, Kenny Britt, who connected on two of the three passing scores.
The TDs were Britt’s first two on the season, but he does have a good rapport with his QB as evidenced by his 60+ yards in 5-of-6 games this year. Star RB, Todd Gurley, continues to struggle in the ground game with a 2.9 avg yards/ carry.

The Rams’ defense is a solid one, although the last two weeks have been a poor showing considering they’ve allowed 30 and 31 points, respectively.
Alec Ogletree leads the team with 50 total tackles and fellow defensive star, Aaron Donald, has registered a team high 3.0 sacks.
NFL Betting Trends:
- Despite their .500 records, both New York (-15) and Los Angeles (-27) have negative point differentials
- Eli Manning sits second in the league in passing yards with 1788
- The Giants are 1-2 on the road this season
- The Rams are on a 2-game losing streak, where they’ve allowed 61 points across the two games
- LA is 1-1 at home on the year, where Case Keenum actually has a 13.2 lower passer rating than on the road
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: New York Moneyline
It doesn’t look like it will be a shootout, especially considering that both teams might be half asleep until the fourth quarter in the 6:30 AM EST start.
Todd Gurley really hasn’t looked good this season, although part of that can be related to his offensive line support who frequently allow contact behind the line of scrimmage.
NFL Free Score Prediction: New York 24 – Los Angeles 21
Coming off of a big week, the real battle will be the Rams defense getting to Manning and containing OBJ, if they can effectively do that then I can see the Rams’ upset the Giants.
However, I don’t think that the Rams’ offense is legit and Gurley hasn’t given any reason to think his struggles won’t continue and I like the Giants offense much more.
