Lots of hype for this DeFlateGate rematch. Unfortunately it is not because many think this is going to be all that good of a game.
Kick off is set for 8:25 PM ET as the NFL looks to milk this storyline one last time. Let’s hope this is entertaining and more competitive than the last time.
New England Patriots
It is usually a struggle for teams to get back to the Super Bowl after winning it but the Pats are looking to buck that trend (yes I know Seattle just did it). They are 4-0 and looking like the class of the AFC.
Tom Brady is definitely fired up, leading the top passing offense in the league and the second best scoring offense. As a result they have won every game by at least a touchdown.
TE Rob Gronkowski was featured early in the season but has not caught a TD pass in the last couple of games. Even though I am sure defenses haven’t forgot about him look for him to be a critical weapon for the Pats on Sunday, plus whatever running back they feel like.
The defense is posting mediocre numbers and has yet to come up against an elite offense. I am not sure that Indy qualifies but they could give them a tough time.
The Pats are one of the most public teams around but they also cover big numbers. They are 3-1 ATS this season.
The Colts have recovered from a terrible start to win their last three games. Of course all of them were in their weak division so we are still no closer to knowing what we want to know about the Colts. At least they showed some grit in winning without Andrew Luck.
Luck is back and they need him to return the Colts offense to the level of productivity they showed last year. So far new additions Frank Gore and Andre Johnson have not been difference makers. Luck has to erase the memory of last year’s title game where he was terrible.
This might be too much to ask but they are probably doomed unless he can outplay Brady.
That is a tall order, especially because Brady has the advantage of playing against the Colts defense which is 28th against the pass.
There is nothing better than being the Patriots in a prime time game but I am hesitant to put my faith in the Colts. I would rather miss a win or two with this group than take another disappointing loss.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Over 55
Sometimes it is hard not to get down on these prime time games. The last time they played they would have almost gone over this number even though the Colts were terrible.
NFL Free Score Prediction: New England 38 – Indianapolis 21
The key will be the start for the Colts. They need to get a couple of first half scores to get into the game.
