Week 10 of the NFL season sees the Vikings taking on the Chargers. The kickoff is set for 4:05 ET.
Minnesota is coming off of a close loss and Los Angeles is coming off of a close win.
The Chargers opened up as 3 point favorites and that number is now down to 2.5. I have seen the total go from 50 to 51.5. This could definitely get higher as the week goes on.
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings have been a disappointing team so far this year. Simply put, they cannot pull out wins that they should be able to.
Minnesota covered as a 6 point dog to the Ravens on Sunday, but they lost the game 34-31. That was an absolutely heartbreaking loss for them.
Sunday was a perfect example of a game this team should have won, but they could not hold the lead once again. This team seems to have the inability to play a complete game and their record reflects that.
Against Baltimore, Kirk Cousins was 17/28 for 187 yards with 2 touchdown passes. Running back Dalvin Cook also had a solid day. He ran the ball 17 times for 110 yards.
They started off good on defense against the Ravens, but once Baltimore got going, there was no stopping them. It will not get any easier for this unit when they have to go against an explosive offense in the Chargers. If they can generate some pressure on Justin Hebert, they have a chance of winning, but if he has a clean pocket, I do not like their chances.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers have played well so far this year. I do not think they have totally hit their stride yet, but I have been impressed with how they played.
Los Angeles took care of the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 27-24 on Sunday. It was closer than some might have thought, but the most important thing is they won the game.
This team did a good job of responding after they did not look good the previous week in the loss to the Patriots.
On Sunday, Justin Herbert went 32/38 for 356 yards with 2 touchdown passes. He looked a lot better than he did against New England.
I still have lots of questions about this defense. I do believe it is better than last year, but I am still not sold on it. I do trust that this unit will play all that well when they have to go against a good offense in the Vikings.

4* Free Week 10 NFL Betting Prediction: Minnesota +2.5
I think that this has the chance to be a very good game. As a football fan, I am really looking forward to it.
I know at the end of the day, teams get judged by wins and losses, but I do feel the Vikings are a better team than their record says. I still consider them a solid football team, but they are just not executing properly.
I am not in love with either of these defenses. I look for both teams to move the ball effectively here.
I can see this being the type of game where the team with the ball last will win the game. I would be surprised to see it be a blowout by either side.
I do not necessarily think the Vikings will win this thing, but I definitely feel they can keep it close. I really do not trust the Chargers laying the points here.
Give me Minnesota at +2.5 here.
