Jacksonville however didn’t fair well themselves. Jacksonville looked like a struggle as they managed just a touchdown a field goal in a 20-9 loss to Carolina.
Kick off is set for 4:05 PM EST on CBS.
Miami
The Dolphins needed to come from behind in their Week 1 victory over the Washington Redskins as they trailed 10-0 early. QB Ryan Tannehill got a touchdown right before to get the Dolphins back into it.
From there, a field goal and a punt return set the tone as Miami’s defense stepped up and the Dolphins held on for a 17-10 win.

QB Ryan Tannehill finished 22 of 34 going for 226 yards and a touchdown. Tannehill hooked up with new TE Jordan Cameron, who was signed in the offseason, for 4 receptions that went for 73 yards.
The lone touchdown thrown by Tannehill found Rishard Matthews who caught it from 3 yards out. Matthews finished with 4 receptions for 34 yards.
A major disappointment came from Ndamukong Suh who was signed to a multi million dollar deal in the offseason, but had just 1 tackle and an assist.
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars had a forgettable Week 1 performance. The disappointing performance comes as a major bummer to the fans and front office as the Jaguars looked like their old selves after the offseason offered a lot of high hopes.
QB Blake Bortles started the disappointment as he was 22 of 40 for just 183 yards to go along with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. Bortles couldn’t get the offense going in the 2nd half as the Jags only gained 75 yards.
As a team, they managed only 265 yards and loss their 4th straight season opener.

The lone bright spot in the loss was RB TJ Yeldon. The rookie out of Alabama had a solid debut as he wasn’t even expected to get a lot of playing time.
Yeldon rushed for 51 yards on just 12 carries and also had 3 receptions that went for 16 yards. The RB wasn’t 100% either in the contest as he continues to work back from a sprained finger.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Jacksonville ATS
The Jaguars have built a really solid young core that is promising, but will take some time to gel. QB Blake Bortles struggled in his debut, but showed a lot of promising signs in 2014. Expect a bounce back game from him and another solid performance from TJ Yeldon.
