The Miami Dolphins have switched to a run-first offense, which has paid major dividends for head coach, Adam Gases and the team.
Kickoff is set for 1:05 PM with Ryan Tannehill starting at QB for the visiting Dolphins, who face off against the Jared Goff led LA Rams team.
LA will look to build on their 9-6 victory against the New York Jets in week-10, where neither team recorded a TD.
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins have won four straight games on the backs of converting to a run first offense on the back of Jay Ajayi. The switch, however, has also seemingly helped QB Ryan Tannehill.

While Tannehill only had 10 TDs on the season, his completion percentage is better than 60% in each of those four games. More importantly, maybe, is that Tannehill hasn’t thrown a single interception in that time, after throwing seven in the four games preceding this time.
Jay Ajayi has average 5.7 yards per carry this season and found the endzone six times, which are pretty impressive numbers after being left of the sidelines in game one and not claiming the starting job until well into October.
Ajayi registered 200+ yards in three of the past four games, and four TDs in that span.

The Dolphins’ defensive game ranks 14th (tied) in the league on average points allowed per game at 22.9. Kiko Alonso leads the unit in total tackles with 71, 43 of which are solo.
Cameron Wake leads the team in sacks with 7.0, ahead of the big ticket name, Ndamukong Suh.
LA Rams
The Rams invested a ton into the first overall selection from this past summers’ draft, Jared Goff, who has yet to see a minute of NFL action until now.
The rookie QB will start for a Rams’ team that has been lifeless as of late and the murmurs started in regards to Goff finally getting a chance.
Jeff Fisher and the coaching staff were hesitant to insert the young rookie as starter based on where they claimed he was in his development, but they seemingly have no choice to try to ignite a spark to the 4-5 club.
After a promising end to his rookie season a year ago, Todd Gurley has been a major disappointment this season. Gurley has not rushed for a triple digit yard game this season, and is averaging just 3.1 yards per carry which grades out amongst the worst of eligible runners.
The talent is there, but the woeful offensive line has caused major problems.

The Rams defense is their strongest attribute, led by the incumbent Alec Ogletree and his 76 total tackles on the season.
LaMarcus Joyner, TJ MacDonald an Trumaine Johnson round out the vaunted Rams defense that’s held opponents to 19.2 points on average per game.
NFL Betting Trends:
- Miami is 4-0 over the past four weeks
- The Dolphins have won 69% of their all-time matchups vs the Rams
- Case Keenum relinquishes the starting QB role sitting at 19th overall in passing yards
- The Rams are 1-3 at home this season
- LA has a -34 point differential
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Miami ML
Goff starting in his first ever NHL game against a solid Miami defense and without a ton of offensive weapons surrounding him.
The reason the Rams were starting the lowly Case Keenum as QB until now is that they felt he wasn’t ready, but now have no choice to turn to him to try to turn their offense around.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Miami 21 – LA 17
LA has allowed the 7th fewest receiving yards in the league this season, so look for a heavy dose of Jay Ajayi and his outstanding breakthrough running game. LA has the best yards per catch at 11.4, so it would make sense that the Fins run the ball.
