One expected 2-6 team gets set to take on a surprising 2-6 team as the Jacksonville Jaguars get ready to take on the Baltimore Ravens.
Jacksonville, expected to be a sub par team, come in off a 28-23 loss to New York that saw them miss many chances at stealing a win.
Baltimore comes in off a bye week and will look to build off just their 2nd win of the season prior to the bye week as they knocked off the Chargers 29-26.
The Jaguars had a chance to hold off the Jets and go to 3-5 on the season which would have at least kept them relevant in the Wild Card chase.
However, the Jags did what all bad teams do, find different ways to lose. Punt Returner Nick Marshall fumbled a punt and set the Jets up at the Jags 25 yard line.
New York found the end zone to regain the league and then QB Blake Bortles threw yet another interception to seal the deal.
Despite his 2 interceptions, QB Blake Bortles didn’t play all the bad. He finished with 381 yards and a pair of touchdowns as he continues to improve and prove why he has the potential to be the future starter.
In a youth movement, RB TJ Yeldon continues to also prove why he is the future as he turned in another decent performance. Yeldon had 64 yards on just 14 carries and has turned in a couple solid weeks in a row.
The Ravens have done a complete 180 from last season. After being just a quarter away from the AFC Championship last year, the Ravens now sit at 2-6 and will need a monumental turn around in order to find themselves in a playoff spot.
Things also took another turn for the worst with Steve Smith Sr. now out for the remainder of the season, leaving an already thin receiving core thinner.
Now, Flacco’s main target will be Kamar Aiken. Along side of him will be Chris Givens and Marlon Brown who all have been 2 or 3’s in terms of the depth chart throughout their careers.
With the receiving corp thin, that means a lot of the pressure will fall on the run game. RB Justin Forsett has struggled though as of late as his highest rush total over the last 3 games hit at 69.
He’ll be going up against a solid front in Jackonsville’s rush defense as they allow just 94.2 run yards per game.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Jaguars ATS
Jacksonville isn’t too far from where they need to be. The Jags should have won against the New York last week and have been competitive in most of their games. As for Baltimore, the major disappointments of this 2015-2016 season have to be hurting them mentality.
