The 2-1 Indianapolis Colts will visit the undefeated Chicago Bears in Week 4 of the NFL season. Indianapolis is coming off a win against the Jets, while the Bears had a miraculous comeback against the Falcons this past week.
Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis is coming off a dominating win against the New York Jets. The Colts dominated not just on offense, but defensively as well. They had two pick sixes on the day that helped them to a commanding 36-7 win.
Philip Rivers has been good, but not great in his first three starts under center for his new squad. Rivers has completed 72 of 92 passes for 794 yards to go with his three touchdowns and three interceptions. If you’ve watched his games you can tell that Philip is still trying to adjust to this new offense and it may take some time for him to firgure it out.

Defensively, the Colts may be one of the only teams to matchup up with the bears. They aquired DeForest Buckner and Xavier Rhodes in the offseason to buff their defense and it’s already paying off. Rhodes reuturned an interception in the last game for a touchdown and Buckner is the teams third leading tackler right behind All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard.
Chicago Bears
The Mitchell Trubisky era seems to have come to an end in Chicago after being yanked for Nick Foles in the third quarter by head coach Matt Nagy. Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles has now been named the starter for the Bears this upcoming week after the great comeback against the Falcons.
Foles looked like he was back to vintage form on Sunday throwing three touchdowns in the fourth quarter leading Chicago to the victory. All together Foles completed 16 of 29 passes for 188 yards to go with his three TD’s and one interception. The only interception that he threw in the game was questionable as it was snatched from Allen Robinson’s hands in the endzone. By the way, all these stats came in the second half of the game.
Chicago’s defense was great again for third week in a row in the second half. The Bear’s defense has allowed just 10 points or less in all three contests so far this season. Akiem Hicks has gone underated his entire career and is emerging as a beast up front. He leads the team in QB hits with seven on the season and has more than double the hits than the next closest player on the team.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Colts -2.5
I like to the Colts in this one as I think their defense will be able to match the play of the Bears. Chicago has played some pretty bad teams to start the season and no one has really talked about that. With Nick Foles being named starter I am now weary of playing Indianapolis, but I still think old man Rivers will be able to get the job done and win by a touchdown. Give me the Colts -2.5 to cover.

Dave Maves says
I’m not sure that the Bears’ schedule has been any easier than the Colts’. The difference is that the Bears have won all three of their games, including one that they were the underdog.
