Defensively, Tennessee remains oddly split. They rank second in opponent offensive yards allowed, proving they can get stops between the whistles. Yet they sit 27th in opponent scoring, meaning big plays and red-zone breakdowns continue to crush them.

Houston enters Week 11 fresh off a 36-29 win over Jacksonville where Davis Mills threw for 292 yards and two scores. Nico Collins carved up the secondary for 136 receiving yards, continuing his breakout campaign. Moreover, the Texans showed strong late-game execution in that victory.
The Texans rank 18th in scoring and 15th in rushing, giving them enough balance to survive tough stretches. However, their passing game ranks 21st, and inconsistency has stalled drives at key moments. Still, their offensive ceiling remains much higher than Tennessee’s.
Defensively, Houston is producing real havoc. They rank fourth in sacks and second in interceptions, making them one of the league’s most opportunistic units. Danielle Hunter’s 3.5-sack explosion last week only reinforced their identity.
Injuries are a concern, with C.J. Stroud and Tytus Howard both questionable for Week 11. The Texans will also be without Jimmie Ward and Joe Mixon, which could complicate game planning.

Additionally, Houston has dominated this rivalry, going 5-1 ATS and 5-1 SU in its last six against Tennessee, including the 26-0 win earlier this season. Because those wins weren’t flukes, the matchup edge stays firmly with the Texans.
Meanwhile, the Titans have struggled across the board with a brutal 1-14 SU mark in their last 15 and a 4-16 ATS skid in their last 20. Even worse, they remain winless at Nissan Stadium this year and are just 3-7 SU in their last 10 November games, which only deepens the concern.
Tennessee’s offense continues to stall while their defense gives up too many long drives, creating the exact game script Houston handles well. With the Texans consistently answering as favorites, the number becomes far more manageable.
