After sitting out the first 4 games of the season, Tom Brady and the Patriots will host the AFC Divisional Round on Saturday when they welcome in the Houston Texans.

The Texans season has been an interesting one to say the least.
After Brock Osweiler was benched late in the season and then reinserted after QB Tom Savage went down, it was up to him to lead the Texans in the playoffs. Houston drew the fortunate task of playing the Oakland Raiders who were without their star QB in the first round.

The task is going to be extremely tall here, given who they’re going up against. Houston gives up just 201 pass yards per game and will certainly be tested from Brady and company.
Houston has to get pressure on Brady here. They cannot allow him to sit back in the pocket, as that dooms them for disaster.
New England Patriots
The Patriots have handled everything thrown at them this season and catch a huge break with the road they have to the AFC Championship Game.
After earning a first round bye, some have deemed the joke of them having a 2nd round bye as they run into the Texans here.
However, Brady and company knows not to take anything for granted.

Here, it’s simply about maintaining the pace of the play.
New England’s offense is one of the best at controlling the tempo and it’s important for them not to fall into Houston’s game style. Brady will have a challenge here against this defense, as they defend the pass extremely well.
Look for them to try to get a run game going early, which should open up some lanes in the middle of the field should they be successful.
