The Broncos are riding high off of their prime time victory over Green Bay. Hitting the road are they due to come back down to earth?

Kick off is set for 4:25 PM ET to get some extra eyeball on this one. Is Indianapolis actually any good? I am kind of curious.
Denver Broncos
The Broncos are undefeated with the top defense in the league. I don’t want to say it is overnight but I cannot recall a team that has so quickly and effectively transformed its identity.
This is a natural letdown spot on the road after a big game but I am sure the Broncos have been reminded that the last time these teams got together was in last year’s playoffs. A game the Colts won.
Peyton Manning is not the player he was five years ago but the Broncos are still in the upper half of the league throwing the ball and you can still trust him to make smart decisions.
They want to emphasize the run game more but they are having middling results in that area, which is why it has been so important for the defense to perform.

Last year’s playoff loss stung because the Colts did not play a very clean game yet they came away with the victory.
Denver is 3-1 ATS on the road this year.
Indianapolis
Is it possible to win a division without winning any games outside your division. The Colts are looking to test that theory. They are 3-5 and all their wins have come against the dregs of the AFC South.
They can dent a whole in their reputation though if they are able drag down the undefeated Broncos, who they beat last January.
It seems that all of the problems are on offense for Indy (because we already knew their defense was second rate).
Since Andrew Luck took over the Colts have been able to throw and score at a rate better than most teams in the league.
This year they are decidedly average to below in those areas and there is no way the running game or defense is going to make up the ground for them.
They are not getting hammered every week but the losses are mounting at 3-5.

Last week they became the first team to lose an overtime game after scoring first (I hope that was correct). It was a crushing blow and now the Broncos come to town fired up for revenge.
This is not a great spot to get on the Colts.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Broncos -5
Until the Colts prove they can compete outside the division I am willing to fade them.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Denver 31 – Indianapolis 23
Denver has the best defense in the league. No issues getting behind that.
