Dallas continues to fall just short as their playoff hopes are in critical condition as they get set to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday.
Dallas allowed a touchdown in overtime to Philadelphia as the Cowboys (+3) fell to Philadelphia on Sunday Night Football.
As for the Bucs, they come in off a 32-18 loss to New York as they had their chance late, but a turnover eventually put all comeback hopes to rest.

When Tony Romo went down, Jerry Jones was the first to point to Brandon Weeden as one of the best replacements in the NFL.
After the Weeden experiment failed, Matt Cassel took over and continues to fall just short. Cassel threw a pick 6 in an overtime loss to the Eagles Sunday night and will try to bounce back as the Cowboys are in serious danger of falling completely out of the playoff race.
Dallas has now dropped 6 straight without Tony Romo calling the shots and are 0-3 with Cassel.
Matt Cassel finished with 299 yards and 3 touchdowns, but included that horrible timing pick 6 in the 2nd half. Cassel continued to connect with WR Cole Beasley.
Beasley had 9 receptions for 112 yards and 2 touchdowns as WR Dez Bryant took a lot of the attention away from him. Bryant finished with 5 catches for 104 yards and had a touchdown reception as he climbed the ladder over two defenders to make the play.
Tampa Bay
QB Jameis Winston continues to show major improvements in his first season in the NFL, but still cannot find a way to get over that hump at times as the Bucs fell once again as they sit 2 games under .500 now.
Winston has seemed to cure his interception problem as he hasn’t thrown in 4 straight games now as his total remains at 7 on the season.
Winston finished Sunday’s loss with 249 yards passing on 19 of 36 with no touchdowns. He did rush for 24 yards on 3 carries and added a rushing touchdown.
WR Mike Evans had a solid showing as well as he finished with 8 receptions for 152 yards as he continues to build some solid chemistry with Winston.
The defense will be the major key for Tampa Bay. They are one of the worst in the league as they allow 28.9 points per game, which sits at 29th in the NFL.
