This was supposed to be a marquee matchup but the Steelers have not held up their end of the bargain. Still they have enough weapons to challenge the streaking Cowboys.
Dallas is the hottest thing going on the NFL right now. Led by two sterling offensive rookies too.
Kick off is set for 4:25 PM ET with Ben Roethlisberger looking to get his team back on track in the AFC.
They are in a real race but this one would be about confidence as well.
It might have only been against Cleveland but winning by 25 points on the road is still pretty impressive.
Dallas continues to do it on the heels of two rookies – QB Dak Prescott and RB Ezekiel Elliott.
Prescott had his best day as a pro with a rating of 141.8 against the Browns while Elliott had a ho hum 92 yards with a couple of touchdowns.
His 18 carries were his second lowest of the season, quite simply they didn’t need him too much.
These two rookies are the key’s to Dallas’ offense.
The defense has been underrated all season and with last week’s performance they lowered their points allowed to just 17.5.
They may not have that preeminent pass rusher that most elite defenses have to lean on though.
Dallas is 4-0 ATS on the road this season.
Big Ben might have made it back from injury in record time this fall but against rival Baltimore he was not very special last week.
To be totally fair that comment could probably extend to the team as a whole though, they seemed pretty flat throughout.
Le’Veon Bell was supposed to burst onto the scene after serving his suspension.
He did in that initial game with 144 yards rushing but since then has been quiet. Roethlisberger being out has not helped matters.
This teams needs to be really good on offense because there is no Steel Curtain on defense these days.
It is not that they are terrible, they just don’t have the kind of playmakers to win on that side of the ball. They are sturdy against the run but Dallas is the top rushing team in the NFL.
This is pretty close to a must win game for the Steelers.
Falling below .500 and then hitting the road for a couple of weeks does not sound like a good scenario.
NFL Betting Trends:
- Cowboys are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.

- Cowboys are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win.
- Under is 4-0 in Steelers last 4 games in Week 10.
- Under is 5-0 in Steelers last 5 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
- Steelers are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games in November.
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Dallas +2.5
The hook is critical here and it feels uncomfortable fading the Steelers in Pittsburgh but what have they really shown us this season.
I am working off the theory that the Cowboys can run the ball and Dak is not going to implode.
