The Dallas Cowboys will be on the road to take on the New York Giants. The kickoff is set for 1:00 ET.
Dallas is coming off a win and New York is coming off a loss.
The Cowboys started off as a 10 point favorite and that number is now up to 10.5. The total has gone from 45 to 44.5.
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys keep on winning games, but I am not sure how good of a team they are. When it comes to teams like Green Bay and Tampa Bay, I do not think this squad stacks up to them.
Dallas beat the Washington Football Team on Sunday by a score of 27-20. It really should not have been that close, but they had a hard time putting their opponent away. Nonetheless, it was a huge win over a divisional rival.
Dak Prescott has not been great in his last few games. If he does not play at an elite level, I do not feel this team has a chance to win the Super Bowl.
In the win over Washington, the aforementioned Prescott finished the day with 22/39 for 1 touchdown and 2 picks. And please can we stop saying how great of a running back Zeke is? 12 carries for 45 yards is not going to cut it, folks. I think even the vastly overrated Saquon Barkley could do better than that.
I expected this defense to play better under Dan Quinn, but I did not think they would be playing on this level. You can thank Michah Parsons for a lot of their success on that side of the ball. The rookie linebacker from Penn State is playing out of his freaking mind.
New York Giants
Another year and the Giants are playing like crap. This has become so common that we should not be surprised by it at all.
New York lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday by a score of 37-21. I actually thought it would be by a lot more, to be honest.
Head coach Joe Judge always seems to find positives in the way his team plays even after they look horrendous. At the end of the day, he never gives you any substance when he talks. He just goes on and on with his coach speak.
Who knows how long Daniel Jones will be out for. It really does not matter because whether it is him or Mike Glennon in there, they are not going to win a lot of games either way.
I remember hearing some people say how this defense was good and they could give some teams trouble. I am sure those folks would like to eat their words after they watched this unit get shredded by yet another team. It will not get any easier for them on Sunday when they face that offense of Dallas.
NFL Betting Trends:
- The Cowboys are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games.
- The Cowboys are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games against the Giants.
- The Cowboys are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games on the road.
- The Giants are 5-12 SU in their last 17 games.
- The total has gone over in 5 of New York’s last 6 games against Dallas.
- The Giants are 0-5 SU in their last 5 games played in December.
4* Free Week 15 NFL Betting Prediction: Cowboys -10.5
This is a battle between one of the best teams in football and one of the worst teams in football. I would not be surprised if this game gets ugly for the G-Men.
If you are the Cowboys, you cannot fool around here. You must go into the Meadowlands and take care of your business.
People have been criticizing the way this team has played on offense. Now is a good chance for Dallas to get right against a bad defense and an even worse team.
Regardless of who the quarterback is for New York, I have a hard time seeing them score points. As far as the Cowboy’s offense goes, if they are on their game, they could make this game a laugher in no time.
10.5 may seem like a high number to lay in a divisional game, but you have to consider the statuses of both teams. I look for the Cowboys to dominate early and often and keep up their trend of covering spreads.
Give me Dallas laying the points on the road here.
