They’ve hovered around in multiple games, including a 10-7 slugfest vs. Denver last week. That said, the offense has been stuck in neutral, and they’ll need more than flashes to keep up with Dallas.

Defensively, the Raiders have some bite. With 38 sacks — 11th in the league — they can generate pressure consistently. Charles Snowden has flashed, posting five solo tackles and a sack vs. Denver, helping keep games close when the offense stalls.
Additionally, special teams remain steady with Daniel Carlson drilling 12 field goals this season.
Inside the controlled environment of Allegiant Stadium, Vegas won’t have weather as an excuse — execution will matter more than conditions.

Cowboys Stats
Shifting to Dallas, this season has featured frustration and glimpses of potential. They still have one of the league’s sharper passing attacks, ranking 11th in passing yards last season at 3,862. But the rushing game remains a major concern, finishing 26th — and the imbalance has shown up in tight moments.

Injuries continue to be part of the storyline. Malik Hooker and Trevon Diggs remain out, thinning a secondary that already gives up chunk plays.

Geno Smith carries the load for Las Vegas when healthy, averaging 204.9 passing yards per game with 11 touchdowns through nine contests. He’s projected for 245.5 yards and nearly two scores here — assuming that quad doesn’t derail him.
When he protects the ball, the Raiders stay competitive.

Meanwhile, the Raiders continue to slide, going just 1-7 SU in their last eight and 2-8 SU in their last ten at home. Even with the occasional post-loss cover, Las Vegas is still only 2-4 SU and 2-4 ATS in its last six home meetings with Dallas, which makes backing them as an underdog tough to justify.
Beyond that, the Cowboys’ offense tends to spike after wins, and that upward scoring swing matters against a Raiders squad that hasn’t generated much offensively since last season. With Vegas’ inconsistency and their inability to protect home field, the matchup leans heavily toward Big D.
On top of it, the Cowboys’ are the better team on paper. If Las Vegas doesn’t find early rhythm, this could get tilted fast.
Given the Cowboys’ ATS edge and the Raiders’ extended SU struggles, Dallas -3.5 is the sharper side.
