The AFC North gets ready to battle it out as the Cincinnati Bengals head into Cleveland to take on the Cleveland Browns Sunday afternoon.
The Battle of Ohio round 2 takes form as the Bengals look to sweep the season series from the lowly Cleveland Browns who have many problems right now.
They were embarrassed on the final play of Monday Night Football with the Ravens blocking a potential game winning field goal attempt and running it back for a game winning touchdown themselves.
Cincinnati has their sights set on a division title as they try to fend off the Pittsburgh Steelers down the stretch.
The Bengals bring in a 9-2 record into this one and got their momentum back after putting an end to their 2 game losing streak last week.
QB Andy Dalton picked apart the St. Louis Rams secondary en route to a 31-7 home win. Dalton found AJ Green twice and Tyler Eifart once as the Rams simply had no answer in this one.
Dalton will have another chance to pick apart a weak secondary as the Browns are allowing 265.2 pass yards per game. Dalton has already had his way with this Browns defense once this season as he threw for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns in a Thursday night win.
The bad news for Cincinnati is that TE Tyler Eifart may not be able to go. Eifart suffered a stinger in his neck last week and is listed as a game time decision on Sunday.
Cincinnati is a perfect 5-0 ATS on the season in road contests.
Just when you don’t think the Browns can get any lower, something else happens.
With Johnny Manziel demoted to third string, Luke McCown was given the start. McCown was injured during the 2nd half, which eventually was found out to be a broken collar bone, thus making way for Austin Davis to step in.
Davis threw a game tying touchdown with just 3 minutes to go setting up for a dramatic finish. With 3 seconds left, Cleveland lined up for a game winning field goal attempt. That attempt was blocked and ran back the other way for a Ravens game winning touchdown.
It’s embarrassing enough, but now the Browns front office will really see how they view Manziel. McCown is out for the season with a broken collar bone, leaving the decision to go with Davis or the punished Manziel here on Sunday.
Should the Browns go with Davis, it’s pretty much a guarantee Manziel will no longer be a Cleveland Brown after this season.
Regardless of who QBs, the run game has to get going or this team won’t be relevant. Cleveland hasn’t came close to the 100 yard mark over the past 5 games.

While linesmakers wait to see who QBs this one, it doesn’t really matter. The Browns are just horrible on both sides of the ball. Lay the number here with Cincinnati.
