Both of these teams have to be feeling pretty good about themselves after last week.
The Bengals had the best comeback of the season against Seattle while Buffalo kept their season on course with a comeback at Tennessee.
Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET with the Bengals looking to stay perfect. Buffalo is still looking for the kind of consistency that says they are ready for the playoffs.
When Andy Dalton through and end zone interception it looked like the Bengals were going to lose at home in Bengals fashion. But maybe this year’s team is different. They scored 17 unanswered against Seattle to force overtime and then won it in the extra frame.
Dalton has been key as he has taken the nest step this year. In the past a turnover would lead to another but this year he has been able to respond.
He has also been money on third down.
You can make an argument that nobody has a better cast of talent around them as the Bengals have everything you could want in an offense…and they are producing.
On defense they are not quite where I would like them to be in terms of becoming a favourite in the AFC and breaking through that playoff barrier. Some of their yardage stats might be skewed by the fact that they have been leading though.
I love that Carlos Dunlap and Geno Atkins are getting after the passer up front.
If the Bills are going to break their playoff drought they are going to have to play more like they did last week, which I am choosing to look at just good enough to win as opposed to poorly.
They are definitely going to have to play better this week if they want to beat Cincinnati
It looks like they are going to have to do it without QB Tyrod Taylor too who is out with an MCL strain. That means EJ Manuel is going to have to take over and that is concerning.
Also on the shelf are top backs Lesean McCoy and Karlos Williams. If the Bills want to make excuses they certainly can.
It is definitely setting up for the defense to be required to win this one.
Fortunately the Bills have the defensive talent to do it. It has been proven that if you can put pressure on Dalton you can force him into mistakes but that might have been the old Dalton.
This is not setting up as a great spot for the Bills. The injuries are mounting and the offense was already struggling to produce. They can’t beat Cincinnati the way they beat Tennessee.

NFL Free Score Prediction: Cincinnati 28 – Buffalo 10
The offense is going to really struggle in this one. We have seen this script before with Manuel at the helm. It is more comedy than anything else.
