One of the best games of Week 15 will feature an AFC showdown with major playoff implications. The Cincinnati Bengals will travel to Mile High to take on the Denver Broncos.
Both teams are 7-6 and tied with three other teams with the same record. Unfortunately, neither team is in the playoffs as of now due to tiebreakers.
Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati has dropped their last two games and find themselves in the midst of a very tight divisional and playoff race. The Bengals fell to 7-6 which ties them with Cleveland in the division as well as four other teams in final two wild card spots.
The Bengals dropped a heartbreaker at home to San Francisco in overtime 26-23. Cincinnati rallied from a 20-6 fourth quarter deficit and tied the game late with a Jamarr Chase touchdown. Robbie Gould missed a GW field goal for the 49ers as time expired.
In overtime, Joe Burrow was moving down the field through the air but the drive stalled with 1st and 2nd down carries and then a sack on 3rd down. The Bengals chose to kick a go-ahead FG and elect to play defense. The plan didn’t work out as San Francisco drove down the field and scored a game winning Brandon Aiyuk touchdown reception.
Cincinnati has a tough final stretch that features an away game to Denver, home to Baltimore, home to Kansas City, and away to Cleveland. Every team is in the playoff race which makes each game a crucial one.
This young Bengals team will be tested in these next few weeks and will prove whether they’re a contender or pretender.
Denver Broncos
Denver was given a much needed winnable game last week against the 1-10-1 Detroit Lions at home and they did not disappoint their fans. The Broncos dominated from start to finish and rolled to a commanding 38-10 victory.
The grief-stricken team Broncos honored the late Demaryius Thomas by wearing his number on their helmets, his jersey on their backs and his memory in their hearts. They knelt in tribute to his number 88 painted on their sideline and didn’t bother fighting back the tears during a moment of silence or the string of highlights shown on the scoreboard Sunday.
Notorious slow starters, the Broncos scored touchdowns on their first two drives, Williams on a 5-yard run and Gordon on a 1-yard run after a three-and-out by Detroit. It was another great outing for the tandem running group. Gordon had a team high 24 carries for 111 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Williams added 15 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Cincinnati has a tough final stretch that features a home game to Cincinnati, away game to Las Vegas, away to LA (Chargers), and home to Kansas City. Every team is in the playoff race which makes each game a crucial one.
This Broncos squad will be tested in these next few weeks and will prove whether they’re a contender or pretender.
NFL Betting Trends:

4* Free Week 15 NFL Betting Prediction: Cincinnati ML
This teams stack up very tightly as both are playoff caliber rosters. Either team has the capability to run away in this game as they’ve proven they are capable of doing already this season.
Whoever wins this outcome will have a significant boost in their playoff chances while the other will likely be needing lots of outside help.
That being considered I like Cincinnati more to win this game due to their edge at quarterback. Burrow showed his talents a week ago by orchestrating a 20-6 fourth quarter comeback against the 49ers. That is the type of playmaking a team needs behind center which Bridgewater does not have nearly as much.
Take the Bengals to win outright late on possibly another GW field goal by Evan McPherson.
Denver is no longer in danger of looking past Cincinnati since the Bengals won last week.
