Cincinnati’s hopes of returning to the playoffs might have ended with their home loss to Buffalo, and the loss of AJ Green, their top receiver.
Still these division games are never easy.
Baltimore has to jump on top of a reeling Cincinnati team in this one. They are just 5-5 but they have a path to the playoffs in front of them.
Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET with Cincinnati looking to play a spoiler role. Both of these teams lost last week and nothing has been easy for teams in this division.
With just three wins at this point in the season it is easy to say the Bengals season is over.
They may have just one more loss than Baltimore but it is going to be hard to thrive down the stretch missing their two most explosive offensive players, Green and Gio Bernard.
The defense gave up a lot of yards but not many points against Buffalo but they scored only 12 points.
They will have had a week to prepare for their losses but Baltimore is a pretty good defensive team. They are going to have to pound away with Jeremy Hill and hope Tyler Eifert can get open every once in a while.
In the past Cincinnati has had defenses good enough to carry a mediocre offense but this year they have not been as good a stop unit.
Vontaze Burfict is still a powder keg waiting to explode and his act is getting tiresome. The rest of the defense is more solid than spectacular.
Cincinnati has not won on the road since their opener at the Jets.
The Ravens had some early leads but in the end they could not solve the streaking Cowboys on the road.
Returning home they are tied with Pittsburgh atop the division but they have some edge given they beat the Steelers earlier in the season. Baltimore has the offense of a .500 team and even that might be generous.
Joe Flacco is still living off that Super Bowl win and the skill players are essentially castoff’s. From week to week it is not much of a surprise to see this group struggle on offense.
The defense has been a different story. I did not see it coming at all but this group has been strong all season.
They are second in yards allowed and 5th in points and it is keeping them in most games.
Most of these players are pretty unsung, like leading tackler Zachary Orr, though they are also getting production from the likes of Terrelle Suggs and Timmy Jernigan.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Baltimore -4.5
This is kind of a dead number but I don’t see how the Bengals are going to put up enough points to really challenge. Coming back without Green is going to be really challenging.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Baltimore 24 – Cincinnati 13
This one will be physical but likely a pretty boring game. If you like the Ravens I suggest you get down on them as soon as possible.
