Both the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts are losing ground and losing it quickly within their divisions. They will both look to come a game closer to a .500 record Sunday in Indianapolis.
The Bears were able to pickup there first win of the season last week against the Detroit Lions, but are still three games behind.
The Indianapolis Colts went all the way across the pond to London England last week just to drop a game to the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27.
The Colts have found themselves in a three-way tie for second place in the AFC South division, but are two games behind the division leading Houston Texans.
The Indianapolis Colts have not been the team we are accustomed to seeing the last 10 or so years. They looked competitive in their 39-35 loss to the Detroit Lions but have had more than a fair share of struggles since.
They barely survived the game in Indianapolis against the San Diego Chargers for their lone win of the season.
The Indianapolis defense has been a weak spot for the team and they failed to hold the Jags in check last week.
The lack of wide receivers for Andrew Luck has been more than evident this season.
T.Y. Hilton leads the Colts with only 336 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season.
The leading receiver against Jacksonville last week was Phillip Dorsett, who hauled in one reception for 64 yards.
This kind of stat pretty much sums up what has been going wrong for the Colts. After 4 games, Luck has tossed the ball for 1,147 yards with eight touchdown passes and three interceptions.
The Bears were finally able to put a mark in the win column last week against the Detroit Lions.
Second string quarterback Brian Hoyer gave a solid performance filling in for an injured Jay Cutler, connecting on 28 of 36 pass attempts for 302 yards through the air.
Eddie Royal put in most of the work for the Bears receiving corps with seven receptions equaling a touchdown and 111 yards.
Chicago was finally able to get something going on the ground with rookie Jordan Howard who needed 23 carries to accumulate 111 yards rushing.
Injuries have limited the Chicago defense and have been a major road block keeping the Bears from finding any success this year.
It is still a toss-up in regards to which quarterback will lead the Bears offense into action against the Colts.
There are many who believe Cutler has played his last down as the starting quarterback for the Bears and while Hoyer is by no means a long-term solution, he will more than likely take on the starting role.
The Colts are the one team who has just as many issues concerning the offensive line as Chicago and this week could be just what the Bears Defense needs to get the season back on track and headed in a positive direction.
NFL Betting Trends:

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Under 37
Neither of these two teams really have a defense worth bragging about, but they also both lack an offense that can be a threat to put a lot of points on the board.
The game could very easily come down to a huge special teams play or points being scored off of a turnover.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Chicago 27 – Indianapolis 20
Jordan Howard will have an opportunity to show just how big of a factor back he can be this Sunday against the Colts.
If given the start, Brian Hoyer could use the Indianapolis Secondary as a chance to put up some big numbers in order to take away the starting role from Jay Cutler.
If Cutler is healthy enough to play, he need to prove to head coach John Fox that he made the right choice to go stick with him. Either way I think the Bears will be able to create some success against the Colts.
