The Buffalo Bills are coming off an impressive shut out on the road versus the New England Patriots. That’s two in a row for the Bills and they will look to keep it going as they travel across the country to play the Rams in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Rams are streaking too as they’ve now won three in a row after getting shut out in San Francisco week one on Monday night.
After an 0-2 start, the peanut gallery got louder and louder about Rex Ryan and whether or not he would make it to the end of the season.
However, the Bills upset and absolutely dominated the Arizona Cardinals at home and they went on the road to upset and shut out the New England Patriots.
The Bills have a good chance to make it three in a row as they travel all the way to Los Angeles to take on the Rams.
Now, a reason for that is because of their defense.
The Bills have hit their stride on the defensive end in these last couple of games and even against the Baltimore Ravens on opening day they were very good in holding the Ravens to just 13 points.
The Rams have a very anemic offense led by Case Keenem and they haven’t had much success aside from the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who don’t possess a good defense.
Look for the Bills to not allow much, but will they be able to move the ball against the Rams? Probably not.
Los Angeles Rams
The most impressive thing about the Los Angeles Rams’ 3-1 is the fact that they’ve only played one home game. They have played two division games on the road and they’ve traveled to the east coast and went 2-1 in that time span.
The Rams defense had another impressive showing as they held the high flying Arizona Cardinals offense to 13 points and they knocked Carson Palmer out of the game.
That front four is no joke and that has been the main ingredient for the Rams early success.
The offense hasn’t been very good, but good enough. Todd Gurley is still struggling massively as he has been a major disappointment thus far.
However, if you are a Rams fan that should give you some sort of hope that if Gurley and the offense can get a little momentum going the Rams might have a longer season than expected.
With that said, there are still a lot of games left and the Rams still have a long, tough trek ahead including this game against the Buffalo Bills.
NFL Betting Trends:
- Los Angeles under is 3-1 this season
- Los Angeles under is 6-2 in their last 8 home games
- Buffalo under is 4-2 in their last 6 games
- Buffalo under is 5-2 in their last 7 road games
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Under 40
Currently, the Rams are the standard 3-point favorites at home and I’m seeing value in that line.
This is basically a pick ’em game and with the Rams being at home the line is fair.
However, I like the under 40 points. I don’t think their will be many points scored in this one.
In the Rams four games this year, the under has been hit three times and for the Bills the under has been hit two times and against the Cardinals the under would have been hit if it weren’t for the Bills offense scoring in bunches.
