Week 14 will feature a pivotal divisional matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens hold a slim lead in the AFC North while the Browns sit in last place in the division despite just sitting 2 games back.
These teams met two weeks ago on Sunday night in Baltimore as the Ravens prevailed 16-10. It was a sloppy game with Lamar Jackson throwing 4 interceptions but the Browns couldn’t capitalize off the turnovers and fumbled twice themselves.
Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore once again played in a wire to wire game but came up short on the road against their rival Pittsburgh. The Ravens scored with less than a minute remaining and elected to go for the win rather than play for overtime which didn’t work in their favor. Lamar Jackson couldn’t connect with Mark Andrews and Baltimore lost in dramatic fashion 19-20.
Lamar Jackson had another big game offensively and finished 23/37 passing for 253 yards. He threw a touchdown but also tossed an interception. Jackson was also effective on the ground and rushed 8 times for a team high 55 yards.
Devonta Freeman was the primary ball carrier in the last game and finished with a team high 14 carries for 52 yards and a touchdown. Freeman also reeled in a team high 5 receptions out of the backfield for 45 yards.
Injury woes continue to mount for the ravaged Baltimore team. Star CB Marlon Humphrey left last game early and it was announced he will miss the remainder of the season with a torn pectoral. He will join a vast list of names out for the season including Marcus Peters, JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, Ronnie Stanley, and Derek Wolfe.
Cleveland Browns
Cleveland has been one of the most inconsistent teams in the league this season and they find themselves at an even 6-6 record. Despite sitting at .500 the Browns are last in the tight AFC North race.
The Browns were on a bye last week which appeared to be much needed after dropping a sloppy game against the Ravens on Sunday Night Football. Injuries have continued to mount for Cleveland as star OT Jack Conklin left last game and it was later announced he will miss the remainder of the season due a torn patellar tendon.
QB Baker Mayfield has had rocky performances this season and has faced harsh criticism from the fans and media. The former #1 pick has completed 194/312 (62.25) for 2,413 yards (7.7 avg). Mayfield has thrown just 11 touchdowns with 6 interceptions this season.
The Browns backfield has struggled to find their footing this season as both of the top backs have missed games due to injury. Nick Chubb has been the primary option and has carried 150 times for 867 yards (5.8 avg) and 6 touchdowns in just 9 games. Kareem Hunt has rushed just 76 times for 381 yards (5.0 avg) and 5 touchdowns in just 7 games.
Cleveland placed tight end David Njoku on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, putting his availability for Sunday’s key NFC North game against the Baltimore Ravens in question.

4* Free Week 14 NFL Betting Prediction: OVER 42.5
This game has all the makings to end in dramatic fashion once again. These teams just met two weeks ago in primetime with Baltimore grabbing a critical 16-10 victory.
Neither one of these teams have been consistent this season and their ATS records reflect that accordingly. The spread is so small in this game it’s essentially a toss up.
With that being said I like the OVER in this matchup. These teams have struggled to score lately and were turnover prone when they last faced off. The recent under trend is why I believe both sides are due to turn it up offensively. Cleveland is also fresh off a bye which gave some of their playmakers time to heal.
Take the OVER.
