Arizona heads into Chicago after an opening week win and will look to move to 2-0 while the Bears try to rebound from a loss.
Arizona got impressive Week 1 win with QB Carson Palmer back under center as they defeated the Saints 31-19.
The Bears couldn’t contain Aaron Rodgers as the Packers knocked off the Bears in Chicago 31-23.
Kick off is set for 1:00 PM EST.
Arizona was a playoff team in 2014 and that came at the expense of losing QB after QB.
Now with Carson Palmer back and 100% healthy the Cardinals are poised for another playoff push. That started off on the right foot in Week 1 as they defeated the Saints 31-19.
QB Carson Palmer shined as he finished with 307 passing yards on 19 of 32 with 3 touchdowns. Palmer wasn’t the only offensive player to shine either.
RB Andre Ellington paced the run game with 69 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. The unfortunate situation came in the third quarter when Ellington was carted off with an apparent knee injury.
WR Larry Fitzgerald led the receiving core with 87 yards.
The Bears were not so lucky in their home opener as they saw Aaron Rodgers the Green Bay Packers race past them 31-23.
Chicago was led by RB Matt Forte who essentially kept the Bears in the game. Forte rushed for 141 yards on 24 carries and found the end zone one time.
QB Jay Cutler was very inconsistent in his season debut as he was just 18 for 36 passing, but did have 225 yards and a touchdown.
Cutler also rushed for 31 yards on 4 carries, but that comes at a price as Cutler has had a past of injuries.
Defensively, the Bears did hold the Packers to 322 total yards, but failed to get any sort of pass rush going, which left Rodgers comfortable all game.
