Cardinals vs. Cowboys Gameday
It’s Week 9, and the Arizona Cardinals are packing their bags for Jerry World to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Kickoff’s at 8:20 PM, November 2, 2025, under the AT&T Stadium lights. NBC’s got the call, and Dallas is itching for a reset.
The Cardinals, sitting at 2-5, have made “almost” their brand. They fight hard, stay close, and then lose late. Jonathan Gannon’s crew needs a spark before this thing slides completely off the rails.
A 1-2 road record doesn’t scream confidence, but they’ve got nothing to lose at this point.
Dallas? They’re 3-4-1, still trying to convince us they’re contenders and not chaos in a shiny helmet. Brian Schottenheimer’s team plays like two different versions of itself depending on the zip code — great at home (2-0-1), lost everywhere else.
History leans red here: Arizona smacked the Cowboys 28-16 back in 2023.
That game still stings in Dallas, and revenge is a strong motivator.
Week 9, Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys — one trying to stop the bleeding, the other trying to prove it still matters.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys Odds & Last 5
Vegas gives Dallas the nod at -151 on the moneyline, with Arizona +126 to pull the upset.
The spread’s Cowboys -2.5, total 54 — which feels like wishful thinking unless both defenses forget they exist.
Arizona’s dropped five straight, including a gut-wrenching 27-23 loss to Green Bay. They move the ball fine but finish drives like they’re allergic to the end zone. That’s not a betting trend you want on your résumé.
Dallas just got humbled 44-24 in Denver. The week before, they dropped 44 on Washington. At home, they score in bunches. On the road, they fall apart.
Luckily for them, they’re in Arlington this week, where the Wi-Fi and confidence both work.
Cowboys Stats
Let’s be honest — this team’s mood swings are legendary.
The Cowboys can look like Super Bowl contenders one drive and like a 6-11 team the next. Last week’s loss was ugly, but Dak Prescott’s numbers aren’t. He’s sitting at 2,069 passing yards and 16 touchdowns with only five picks. That’s top-three stuff.
Javonte Williams gives them juice on the ground with 633 rushing yards, but the defense? Yikes. They were third in sacks last year (52) but still managed to give up 468 points — 28th in the league.
You can’t rush the passer and get torched deep; pick one.
Injuries haven’t helped — Malik Hooker and Trevon Diggs both on the shelf, and the secondary’s been a turnstile since. At least AT&T Stadium seems to bring out their focus.
We’re going to see Prescott feed CeeDee early and often, because Arizona’s corners might as well pack extra Gatorade.

Cardinals Stats
Arizona’s season feels like a recurring dream — close, competitive, and ultimately disappointing. They’ve lost nail-biters to Green Bay (27-23) and Indy (31-27), proving they can hang… just not finish.
Their run game still hums — 7th in the league last year with 2,451 yards — but the passing attack? Barely serviceable at 18th. Kyler Murray’s been fine when upright: 962 yards and six TDs through five games, but the foot injury’s slowing him down more than defenses.
The defense does some things right (41 sacks, 8th in the NFL last season) but leaks yardage like a broken faucet — over 5,800 allowed. Losing James Conner and DT Justin Jones doesn’t help either.
Tight end Trey McBride’s been their bright spot, though: 421 yards, four scores, and maybe the one reliable target left standing.
In short, Arizona fights hard but bleeds yards.
They’re a bettor’s nightmare — just good enough to tease you, just bad enough to burn your ticket.
We want to hear from you below! Comments are welcome! Give us your picks for this Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys NFL matchup.
Cardinals vs. Cowboys QB Matchup
Dak Prescott’s quietly putting together one of his better statistical years. He’s averaging 244 yards per game and has tossed 16 TDs against just five INTs.
That’s top-shelf efficiency, and when he’s in rhythm, Dallas rolls.
Kyler Murray, meanwhile, is still the wildcard. He averages 192 through the air and 34 on the ground — always capable of breaking one when plays collapse. But that foot injury? It’s turning his scrambles into slides, and that kills Arizona’s edge.
If this turns into a shootout, advantage Dak. If Murray finds ways to improvise and extend drives, we might get chaos.
Either way, you’re betting on which QB stays upright longer behind shaky protection.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys bottom line: Both teams need it. Only one’s equipped to get it. Dallas at home has been night and day compared to their road form, and Prescott’s calm under pressure gives them the edge.

- The Cowboys have a perfect 5-0 over/under record in their last 5 games.

Cardinals Cowboys Free Pick: Cowboys -3
Here is my Cardinals Cowboys free pick. Expect the Cowboys to handle business, keep the offense rolling, and send Arizona back to the desert still searching for answers.
The Cowboys have been impressive at home, holding a 2-0-1 record this season and continuing their dominance at AT&T Stadium.
They’ve also thrived in November, going 8-4 straight up in their last 12, and their balanced offense gives them a clear edge.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals have struggled badly, losing five straight and going just 1-6 in their last seven on the road. They’ve also dropped 14 of their last 18 road matchups against Dallas, a trend that highlights their ongoing issues away from home.
That lack of consistency makes this a tough spot against a Cowboys defense ranked 3rd in sacks last season.
Given these factors, the Cowboys’ home advantage and defensive strength make them the smarter side to back. Their ability to dictate tempo and dominate at home gives them the upper hand once again.
With Dallas thriving in November and Arizona winless in five straight, the Cowboys moneyline is the clear play.
