Wisconsin Badgers
Wisconsin graduated forward Ethan Happ last year but retained its next three highest scorers, all whom are juniors this season.
D’Mitrik Trice, Brad Davison and Nate Reuvers averaged 11.6, 10.5 and 7.9 points per game as sophomores a year ago. This season, Trice and Davison are scoring less and Reuvers has become the leading scorer.

It took six tries for the new upperclassmen to lead Wisconsin to a win outside the Kohl Center, where Wisconsin is undefeated with seven double-digit wins, but it got a good one on Saturday.
The Badgers went to the University of Tennessee and beat the Volunteers by twenty, 68–48, behind twenty-one points from Trice, the younger brother to Travis, who led Michigan State in scoring five years ago.
Wisconsin had four more assists than turnovers, compared to Tennessee’s minus-five, and didn’t allow anybody on Tennessee, which played without Lamonte Turner, to hit double-digits.
Ohio State Buckeyes
Ohio State will be at full strength. Of the eight guys who averaged more than a dozen minutes per game, only two have missed earlier games; everybody played in OSU’s last game: a 67–59 loss to West Virginia.
That game was played at the home of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers and served as a reminder at just how many teams can defeat others without anything too unusual from happening.
West Virginia’s Miles McBride, a freshman, hit three-of-four from three-point range scored a career-high twenty-one points. Ohio State led at half and at the last media timeout but West Virginia, always a strong defensive team under Head Coach Bob Huggins, got the better of the final minutes.
It was about the worst Ohio State has played all season; and yet, the Buckeyes were still in position to beat the Mountaineers, who are now 11–1.
OSU is about as consistent in its own play as any team in the country, with both an offense and a defend ranked in or around the top ten in most wholistic measures. It took Minnesota’s best (and the home court) to beat the Buckeyes, who had made easy work of every other opponent on its schedule.
