The Stanford Cardinal will travel to great Northwest and take on the Oregon Ducks for some Pac-12 basketball this Thursday.
Oregon is favored to win by nine at home here.
Stanford Cardinal
Stanford has essentially traded each of their last ten games, but they remain as competitive as ever. They couldn’t recover after a slow start against UCLA, and loss 79-70 at home last time out.
Harrison Ingram has grown into a reliable player early. The 6’8 freshman posted his fourth double-double of the season in the win over Washington, and he leads the team in both scoring (11.5) and rebounding (6.7).
Senior forward Jaiden Delaire (11.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg) hit the game-winning three in the first meeting against Oregon, and he’s thrived in the role of senior leader this season.
Spencer Jones joins him up front, and he’s caught fire as of late, scoring more than 60 points over their last three games.
Michael O’Connell starts in the lead guard role, and he’s posting solid averages of 7.3 ppg, 2.7 rpg, and 3.9 apg.
Oregon Ducks
Oregon has figured things out after a rough non-conference stretch. The Ducks have won nine of their last ten, defeating both UCLA and USC on the road along the way. They defeated Utah on the road last time out, 80-77.
Will Richardson has really locked in since the start of Pac-12 play. The 6’5 guard scored a career-high 28 points in the win over USC, and he scored 25 points in both wins over Utah.
Richardson is leading the Ducks 15.3 points per game and 3.4 assists per game.
Red River transfers Jacob Young (Texas) and De’Vion Harmon (Oklahoma) have come in and given Dana Altman’s team some life. Young has over 140 games of experience, and he scored a game-high 23 points in the road win over UCLA.
Harmon is third on the team in scoring (10.7), while fellow transfer Quincy Guerrier (Syracuse) scored a season-high 22 points against Colorado.
Eric Williams Jr. remains a strong, vocal presence on the court for Oregon. The 6’7 forward double-doubled in the road win over Oregon State, and he’s averaging 8.5 ppg and 5.3 rpg.
N’Faly Dante alters every shot., and give the Ducks a mountain in the middle.
CBB Betting Trends:

- Oregon is 8-4 ATS in their last 12 Pac-12 games.
- Under is 6-4 in Ducks last 10 games vs. a team with a record above .500.
Free Stanford Cardinal vs. Oregon Ducks NCAAB Prediction: Stanford to Cover
While I think Oregon’s momentum carries on here, Stanford has thrived big time as an underdog dating back to college football season.
4* Free CBB Betting Pick: Stanford +8.5 (-110)
Stanford has the length to keep things close here. It gave Oregon trouble in the first meeting, and it should likely factor into this matchup as well. Stanford has covered in four of their five road conference games this season, and I like spotting them the points here.
Take Stanford’s spread here, and give the under a look.
