Seton Hall Pirates
Seton Hall has started off the year very well. When it comes to top teams in the Big East, you have got to include their name in the mix.
As of now, the Pirates have a record of 8-1. Yes, they have played some cupcakes teams, but they have also faced some true competition and they have handled them in good fashion. They will see even more of that when their conference plays winds up.
This group beat the Texas Longhorns on Thursday by a score of 64-60. That was a very impressive win for them over a team that is considered to be one of the better ones in all of America.
In the win over Texas, Jared Rhoden was the leading scorer with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Also, both Myles Cale and Bryce Aiken had 10 points. It is good to see a well-balanced attack on the offensive side of the ball.
