With Baylor having the recent struggles that they have had, it is very fair to say this team is the best one in the Big 12. It will be exciting to see if they can keep this high level of play up for the whole year.
In the win over WVU, the leading scorer for these guys was Jalen Wilson, who had 23 points and 8 rebounds. Also, David McCormack chipped in 19 points and 15 rebounds.
Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma may not be getting talked about as much as other teams in their conference, but they still have been a solid team. For the most part, I have liked what I have seen from them so far.
The Sooners come into this ball game with a record of 12-5. So far, it has been a mixed bag when they have gone against the stout competition. It is going to be a very tall task for them when they take on this loaded and confident Jayhawks crew.
This program beat the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday by a score of 59-58. It was by no means a pretty win, but they did what they had to do to get a win, which is the most important thing.
The offense was certainly not firing on all cylinders in their last game, but the defense played quite well. It is not easy to a hold a team in college basketball to under 60 points.
