No. 11 Florida State looks to get one step closer to repeating as ACC regular season champions when it goes to the Dean Smith Center Saturday to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Seminoles have won four games in a row and are two games ahead of Virginia in the standings. North Carolina is fighting just to make the tournament and is currently on the bubble.
Florida State Seminoles
Florida State has won nine of its last ten games, the lone loss coming to Georgia Tech January 30. North Carolina is the toughest team left on the Seminoles schedule, as they also have Boston College and Notre Dame remaining on the schedule.
The Seminoles have a top-10 offense in college basketball and have done an exceptional job of shooting the basketball. The Seminoles are 11th in the country in 3-point shooting.

Their two-game winning streak came to an end with an 83-70 loss to Marquette on Wednesday. The two teams agreed to play the non-conference game due to postponements for both teams.
North Carolina has struggled on offense from an efficiency standpoint. The Tar Heels have failed to get consistent production out of their backcourt. North Carolina has an effective field goal percentage of 48.5 and a 3-point percentage of just 31.5. Free throws have also been a problem, as the Tar Heels are shooting 65 percent.
