The Florida Gators have had some real struggles this season and even though they sit with an 8-5 record they can’t be happy with how they played.

This hasn’t been a great offensive team this year but each of the last two games they have been running up the score.
Two games ago they put up 102 points and in their last game against the Alabama Crimson Tide it took overtime but they put up 104 points. The defense in that game really struggled and it led to them not covering the spread.
In this game it’s going to be about making it a shootout. If they can run up the score they are going to make life tough on the Gamecocks to keep up.
On the road this season the Gators are averaging only 60.5 points per game and it’s going to be important they are better with their scoring.
South Carolina Gamecocks
On the other side of this matchup is the South Carolina Gamecocks who have had some good wins this season, but they aren’t great.
In their last game against Stetson, they scored only 56 points and led to a terrible loss. They were 22 point favorites in that game.
Over the last five games the Gamecocks are averaging only 66.6 points per game and that isn’t enough to get the job done.
Against an offense that is hot, the Gamecocks either need their defense to really step up, or the offense is going to need to find a way to have success.
