I do think these guys can have a good year when all is said and done, but it will be much tougher sledding when they start playing just teams from the SEC. When that happens, we will really know what this team is made out of.
This squad was able to hang with the Crimson Tide in the first half, but in the second half, they got outscored by a margin of 47-31. Those sorts of things just cannot happen, regardless of the team, you are facing on that given day.
Auburn Tigers
Wow, Auburn has been very good this season. They are a team that has been very fun to watch this year and I think that will continue to be the case as we get deeper into the season.
The Tigers come into this conference clash with a record a very impressive record of 13-1. On the season, their lone loss came to the UCONN Huskies and it was a game they could have won. Based on how this team is playing now, I think they could hang with anybody in the country.
This program dispatched the South Carolina Gamecocks on Tuesday by a final score of 81-66. They did just what they had to do against a conference foe they are better than.
The offense was really clicking for them in their game with the Gamecocks, as four players reached double figures. The leading scorer was Wendell Green Jr., who had 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Walker Kessler also had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
