Davidson Wildcats
Davidson has been on tear since starting the season 1-2. The Wildcats have ripped off 12 straight wins, including a strong-road victory over Alabama. This team has a chance to be very profitable and surprising as the season grows on.
The Wildcats are one of the most efficient teams in the country, scoring 78.2 ppg, while shooting 50.1% from the field. They also shoot 41.7% from deep, which is good for second in the nation.
Their powered by the international tandem of Hyunjung Lee and veteran Luka Brajkovic. Lee posted his fourth double-double of the season in the win over St. Joe’s and he leads the team in scoring (17.4) and rebounding (6.7).
Brajkovic remains consistent as ever in year four, and he scored a season-high 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win over Rhode Island. The 6’10 big is averaging career-bests of 13.2 ppg and 2.4 apg, while tying the team lead with 6.7 rpg.
Foster Loyer is fittingly a Curry-esque sniper. The Michigan State transfer scored a career-high 35 points and hit eight threes in the win over Northeastern, and his scoring average is up a whopping 13 points, up to 15.9 ppg.
Michael Jones joins him in the backcourt, averages 12.3 ppg and he scored a season-high 21 points in the win over Alabama.
Richmond Spiders
Richmond ended the non-conference slate on a six-game winning streak, that included a road win over N.C. State and a victory over Toledo at the Robins Center. They opened A-10 play with a pair of losses, but they defeated UMass last time out, 80-72.
The Spiders scored 73.8 ppg, and they are EXTREMELY experienced.
Tyler Burton is the youngest member of the starting lineup as a junior and he leads the team in scoring at 18.2 ppg. The 6’7 forward has double-doubled in back-to-back games, and he scored a season-high 29 points in a win over in-state rival ODU.
Grant Golden was granted a sixth season by the NCAA, and he remains a hassle on the low block for opposing teams. The captain is averaging 15.4 ppg, while grabbing 6.3 rpg and dishing out a respectable 3.4 apg.
Jacob Gilyard and Nick Sherod both returned for their fifth season’s and they’ve given UR solid guard play once again. Gilyard has been a menace defensively, swiping four or more steals in each of the past five games. He’s posting a healthy line of 10.5 ppg, 3.8 rpg, a team-leading 6.5 apg, and a nation-leading 3.5 spg.
Nathan Cayo also came back for his fifth year in RIchmond, and the 6’7 forward scored 14 points in the win over UMass.

This potential Atlantic Ten title matchup could mark the end of Davidson magical stretch.
4* Free CBB Betting Pick: Richmond +6.5
While we won’t ignore the fact the Wildcats have won ten straight games, this is a lot of points to hand an experienced team at home with every motivation to end this winning streak. UR has the size to match Davidson up front, and the key will be the play of disruptive guard Jacob Gilyard. The Spiders could pull this, but we feel a lot stronger about spotting them the points here.
Take Richmond’s spread for this one, and give the over a look.
