Yes, he’s injured but for the team to wait over five weeks prior to making the decision on his surgery screams this was all part of the tank process.
Detroit’s statistical performances aren’t looking great on either side of the hardwood. They allow opponents to score an average of 117.9 points per game which ranks 29th.
Their opponent’s field goal percentage is 48.6% and 35.4% from deep which ranks 27th and 13th respectively.
