Wednesday, December 23rd finds the Phoenix Suns vs. Sacramento Kings playing for the second time in as many games. The duo played on Friday in a highly competitive match that the Kings won 106-103.
Through two games both clubs have shown they are committed to playing defense as they try to climb the West’s ladder and earn a playoff berth this season.

A key area to fix will be bench scoring as the Kings outperformed them by a margin of 33 to 20.
Sacramento Kings
Although the Kings remain unbeaten through two games there is a lot for Sacramento to clean up. In particular, their shooting has been abysmal and saved only by balanced scoring.
To wit, in their last match, they shot 21.7 percent from deep on 5 of 23. and missed ten free of their 33 free throws.

In the win over the Nuggets, seven players reached double-digits and followed up with six reaching the benchmark in the win over the Suns.

In the victory over the Suns, De’Aaron Fox led the way with 24 points. Buddy Hield (14), Marvin Bagley (13), Nemanja Bjelica (12), Harrison Barnes (11), and Richaun (11) were the other double-digit contributors.
DaQuan Jeffries and Jabari Parker have yet to play this season both nursing back pain and are listed as questionable again for Sunday.
