Although Embiid played Saturday he’s listed as questionable for Monday due to ongoing back spasms.
Shake Milton is nursing an ankle injury that kept him out Saturday and is likely to also keep him immobile on Monday.
Utah Jazz
It was a big week for the Jazz who extended their win streak to seven with impressive wins over the Celtics, Bucks, and Heat.
The more the Jazz win and continue to take down top-level clubs with seeming ease the more the spotlight grows on this team.
The question will be whether they can sustain this effort the entire season or if they are destined to be a club that emulates the Bucks — plays great in season and exits the playoffs earlier than projected.
Of course, much of that will depend on star Donovan Mitchell and defensive specialist Rudy Gobert. In the defeat of the Heat on Saturday, the duo led the way for Utah. Mitchell scored 26 points while Gobert registered a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Conley (hamstring) has missed the last four games and is likely out again Monday. Elijah Hughes (ankle) is listed as day-to-day on the injury report.
