I’ll take the points because of the paint dynamic, with Indy looking to occupy that area and the 76ers lacking depth upfront. Albeit, it won’t help if Zubac can’t go, as the Sixers will return the favor on Indy’s side of the floor.
Per John Schuhmann: The Pacers went to a lot of Tyrese Haliburton-Pascal Siakam pick-and-rolls …and they’ve scored 1.62 points per chance when a Siakam ball-screen for Haliburton has led directly to a shot, turnover or trip to the line. That’s the second best mark among 39 combinations with at least 15 direct ball-screens, according to tracking data.
With that in mind, I’m taking the points, although I still think Philly pulls out the win.
Side Note: Haliburton and Nembhard are both listed as questionable, and if they both are out, I’d switch up the pick to Philly covering the spread.
