Tuesday, December 17th, finds interconference rivals the Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz facing each other for the first time in the 2019-20 season.
Last season, the teams played twice with each club winning once. The Jazz holds the all-time record having bested the Magic in 37 of their 60 matches.
Orlando Magic
The Magic arrive in Utah on an extreme high. After spending a good majority of the season struggling to put points on the board and hit the century mark Orlando broke out with a 130 point scoring effort in their win over the Pelicans.

The Magic were hot from the perimeter hitting a season high 17 triples and shot the deep ball at a high clip of 50 percent.
Part of the reason the offense was flowing is the Magic got back Nikola Vucevic who missed 11 games after spraining his ankle in Toronto and scored 20 in his first game back.
In a rarity the only player of the nine who played not to register double-figures was Aaron Gordon who came one point shy of making it a clean sweep.
Jonathan Isaac was the only Orlando player to register a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. DJ Augustine (17), Evan Fournier (16), Terrence Ross (14) Mo Bamba (13), Michael Carter-Williams (10), and Markelle Fultz (10) all pitched in toward this offensive outburst.
Evan Fournier leads the Magic in scoring with 20.0 points and field goal percentage (48.1%) while. DJ Augustine tops the assists category with 4.8. Jonathan Isaac tops the leaderboard for rebounds (7.3), steals (1.2) and blocks (2.7).
The only player out for the Magic is Al-Farouq Aminu who is out for the season having sustained a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Utah Jazz
While the Magic played Sunday the Jazz has been off since Friday when they took down the Warriors.

Bojan Bogdanovic broke out of a shooting slump hitting eight 3-pointers and scored 32 points as the Warriors focused on stopping Donovan Mitchell who still collected 28 points.
Rudy Gobert delivered a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds. Royce O’Neale scored 14 and Joe Ingles scored 13 to make it a clean sweep of the starters all reaching double-figures.
On the season, Donovan Mitchell is the team leader in scoring (25.0) and steals with 1.2 per game while Joe Ingles tops the assists category with 4.2. Rudy Gobert tops a trio of categories leading in rebounds (13.7), field goal percent (68.2) and blocks (1.8).
Mike Conley has missed the last five games with left hamstring tightness and is questionable to play Tuesday versus the Magic. Likewise, Tony Bradley missed the last game suffering from an illness and is also questionable to play Tuesday.
