OKC Thunder vs. San Antonio Spurs Odds & Last 5
Last year, the Thunder won the season series two games to one over the Spurs. In this campaign, the squads were scheduled to play four times, but because of the NBA Cup, they played five times in total, with the Spurs thumping them four games to one.
San Antonio has three losses through two series, having beaten the Portland Trail Blazers 4-1 and the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-2.
Meanwhile, OKC has yet to lose this postseason, sweeping both the Phoenix Suns and the LA Lakers. With the Thunder finishing with a record of 64-18, they hold home court throughout the playoffs.
And, since the Spurs finished 62-20, they hold the second-best record and therefore whichever team wins this series will have home court advantage in the NBA Finals.
The oddsmakers are favoring the Spurs to win by 3.5 points with an over/under of 219.5 points.

OKC Thunder vs. San Antonio Spurs bottom line:
The Thunder can book their return trip to the NBA Finals with a win while the Spurs will be playing for their postseason lives.
Clearly, that should make San Antonio more desperate and most pundits believe that will equate to a Game 7 on Saturday.

Thunder Spurs Free Pick: Thunder +3.5
Here is my Thunder Spurs free pick.
Depth was a big story in Game 5 as Mark Daigneault tweaked his rotation, adding in Kenrich Williams and playing Jalen Williams (JWill) more and sat Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins instead.
That goes to highlight just how very deep this Thunder squad is, and that paid dividends as the Spurs and, in particular, Wembanyama looked fatigued.
This series has the potential to be even more entertaining and competitive than the ultimate NBA Final. To wit, the team that wins the Western Conference Finals will likely be favored to win the Larry O’B trophy.
As noted, the majority of pundits favor the Spurs to push this series to the pinnacle, and that makes sense given how San Antonio has played when desperate.
My rationale for going with the Thunder, however, is that we’ve started to see the Spurs’ inexperience, and when I combine that with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander not delivering a typical game yet, my gut says that will come on Thursday as OKC wraps up their finals berth.
Therefore, take the Thunder and the points.
